As the first company who introduced IPv6 technology into China since 2001, BII has been closely cooperating with IPv6 Forum in China for 10 years. As IPv6 Forum China Council, we participated in many IPv6 national projects, such as CNGI, CERNET, CERNET2, IPv6 Surveillance System in 2008 Olympic Games, etc..

As the first Chinese company joins in IPSO Alliance, BII Group works as IPSO Alliance Promoter in China since 2011. Depending on BII’s core competitive advantage in IPv6 and Internet of Things industry, we aims to promote IP as the premier solution for access and communication for Smart Objects.

BII cooperated with Femto Forum as its China Office since 2010. We provide information and advice on best practice to operators planning deployments and equipment manufacturers looking to enter the market. We also work with the Chinese government and regulator in order to ensure the legal environment is primed to maximise the potential of femtocells.

Since 2008, authorized by Bluetooth SIG and under its direct leadership, Bluetooth SIG China Office was founded in BII TMT. We provide professional consulting service for member companies regarding Bluetooth SIG’s policy and regulation in respect of membership, intellectual property, product qualification, and so forth.

As a new wireless communication technology working on 60 GHz spectrum with feature of 10-times fast than Wi-Fi, Wireless Gigabit is now in its specification drafting phase.
There is no doubt that WiGig will become a prevailing wireless technology soon. We cooperated with WiGig Alliance from 2009, just at the very beginning when it’s founded.
