Marc Cohn
Vice President of Network Strategy, the Linux Foundation
Marc Cohn is Vice President of Network Strategy for The Linux Foundation based in Silicon Valley. In this role, Marc is responsible for forging a network vision and strategy for the open source networking projects spanning the Linux Foundation and the entire SDN/NFV community.
Marc has been a major contributor to the Software Defined Networking (SDN) community, as the Market Area Director for the Open Networking Foundation (ONF), and sole Silver Member representative for the OpenDaylight Board of Directors.
Marc also advises the Chairman of the ETSI Network Functions Virtualisation (NFV) ISG on communications and edits the ETSI NFV leadership Blog, and NFV Insider series on SDxCentral, one of the most popular Blogs on NFV.
Prior to joining the Linux Foundation, Marc was the Senior Vice President at ClearPath Networks, and was the outbound face for Ciena’s SDN strategy.
