Title: MEF 3.0: Already accelerating worldwide adoption of assured services across automated networks.
Abstract: One year ago MEF announced the MEF 3.0 Framework to enable assured services orchestrated across a global system of automated networks, a market we now estimate as exceeding $250 billion. In the 12 months since, we have made progress on all four pillars of MEF 3.0: Services, LSO APIs, Certification, and Community. In this talk we describe two major achievements highlighted by commitments from the world’s leading Tier 1 operators and representing industry firsts: SD-WAN standards and inter-carrier automation by DevOps for standards including integrated open-source SDKs.
